What the site processes

There are no accounts, payments, uploads, location permission requests or third-party analytics in this version. Destination searches run in your browser; the search feature does not send your search text to our server.

Language preference and view links

Choosing a language saves only zh or en in localStorage under riskmap.language. It stays on this browser until cleared or replaced. You can remove it through your browser site-data settings; the site still works without saving the preference.

Language, selected sources and destination identifiers can appear in view URLs. Opening or sharing these URLs exposes those selections to the recipient and the servers handling the request. Do not put private information in a URL or a search query you share.

Connections, hosting and logs

Delivering a page necessarily involves connection information such as IP address, time and requested URL. Hosting, proxy or security services may process this information for delivery, security and troubleshooting. It is not used by this application for advertising profiles.

This overseas edition is prepared for hosting in Singapore. Server log settings and retention must match the deployed service. Provider security records are governed by the provider arrangements; absence of analytics does not mean that infrastructure keeps no logs.

External links and contact email

Official documents open on their source websites, which receive your connection information and apply their own privacy policies. This map does not load external map tiles. Sending us email also involves your email provider and our mailbox provider.

We use information you choose to email us to respond to the request, correct content or handle rights and security issues. Send only what is needed, not passwords, identity documents, payment details or a detailed travel itinerary.

Retention and your requests

Request correspondence and necessary operational records should be kept only while needed for their stated purpose or legal obligations, with access limited to those handling them. You may ask about access, correction or deletion of information you provided, subject to applicable obligations and verification.

A policy page does not replace secure server configuration. Material changes to data handling will be reflected in this notice.
